Please note changes to rates for CCW as follows: New Permit fee; $67.00/$91.00 (*depending on residency; see below), Renewal Fee; $50.00, Emergency/Temporary Permit; $37.00, Replacement for Lost Permit; $15.00.
*Note that all applicants who have been resident in the State of Ohio for less than five years must undergo theFBI background check at an additional cost of $24.00.
NEW APPLICATIONS
New applicants must have:
- your Driver's Licence
AND
- a completed CCW Application form
AND
- a recent colored "head and shoulders" photograph (this does not have to be of "Passport" quality)
AND
- your original Certificate of completion of the Firearms course signed by an approved instructor
AND
- $67.00 in CASH if you have lived in Ohio for the last five years
OR
- $91.00 in CASH if you have not lived exclusively in Ohio for the last five years (We regret that we cannot accept checks or credit cards)
RENEWALS OF PERMITS
Applications to renew your CCW Permit must include:
- your Driver's Licence
AND
- a completed CCW Application form (same form as for the original application)
AND
- your expiring CCW Permit
AND
- $50.00 in CASH if you have lived in Ohio for the last five years
OR
- $91.00 in CASH if you have not lived exclusively in Ohio for the last five years
