In accordance with House Bill 138 legislation, all successful bidders will be required to deposit at the time of sale an amount equivalent to 10% of the appraised value of the property. No personal checks will be accepted. Certified checks must be payable to the “Sheriff of Lawrence County” or “Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.”
